Stu & Jules - husband and wife powerhouse duo - and owners of Meat on the Avenue since July 2019. Since then Stu & his team have grown Meat on the Avenue into a reputable business within the Mosman community. Continually delivering the best quality meat from Breakout River Meats in Cowra.
Originally from Sawtell on the NSW Mid-north Coast, Stu relocated to Sydney at age 13 and starting his butchering career at the ripe age of 16. With over 25 years experience, Stu is extremely passionate about the trade and loves building quality relationships with his customers and members of the community.
Stu completed his training at Exclusive Meats in North Turramurra, where he was taught his trade in a traditional butchery and honed his skills under the guidance of traditional butchers with many years experience between them.
As an old school style of butcher, Stu enjoys the process of breaking meat into their primals, ensuring absolute quality every time. Stu enjoys developing new and delicious meal ideas that are quick, easy and require nothing more than an oven or barbecue.
